Project Description

New 4G model of the iCare Watch is coming soon....

The iCare Watch is perfect for those who want to monitor the wearer themselves, without the need to sign up to a 24/7 monitoring service – anyone who is active in the community, and who would benefit from having emergency help at hand whenever and wherever needed.

Main features

  • Able to be used outside of the home, wherever there is mobile network coverage
  • Panic Alert / SOS button
  • Programmable Safe Zones
  • GPS tracking to locate the wearer
  • Able to call the watch and speak to the wearer, or send a message

  • Up to 5 emergency contacts can be set in the watch

  • Appointments and reminders can be added via the iCare Web Portal

  • Water resistant

How does it work?

Located on the side of the watch is the alert/SOS button.  If pressed, it will begin to notify your pre-set emergency contacts list.  Each person is contacted until someone accepts the message.  The exact location of the wearer is then shown via Google maps, allowing the emergency contact person to locate and attend to the wearer.

Each watch comes with a pre-configured SIM card and will operate wherever there is Telstra mobile network coverage.  The combination of mobile SIM towers and GPS tracking via satellite technology will help to locate the wearer of the iCare Watch within a 20-metre radius.

Who is it suited to?

The iCare Watch is designed to assist the following:

  • People with cognitive or physical disability
  • Those living with Dementia
  • People who have a chronic illness
  • People who may live alone
  • Those who may need a silent duress alert
  • Those who want extra reassurance at home, work, or whilst out in the community

iCare Carers App & Management Web Portal

The wearer of the watch can be easily tracked in case of emergency.  Management of the Care Circle (emergency contacts list) is easy.  Geo Fences can be set to alert you if the wearer moves into or out of a specified area, and you can even set reminders in the calendar to carry out tasks at a certain time, such as take medication or attend appointments.

Frequently Asked Questions

No, the iCare Watch uses the Mobile Network to send out alerts. For this reason, the iCare Watch is supplied with a sim card already pre-programmed for use.

Our subscription charges cover the cost of the Sim Card usage of the iCare Watch plus access to the application software & updates for all the benefits & features of the watch. The iCare Watch must have an active subscription plan to work.

The iCare Watch will show the emergency screen and will continue to search for the mobile network & once in range will push out the alert unless the alert is cancelled.

If the Lost Signal is appearing in the software, it means that the iCare Watch has not been able to connect to the network for more than 30 mins. If this happens, the carer should check the watch as soon as possible to ensure safety. This can occur simply because the watch has been turned off, sim card is not installed correctly or the battery is out of charge.

iCare Watch uses the same location & GPS tracking technology as Google Maps. The user’s location is determined by GPS, WI-FI & Mobile Network connection points of the sim card. It is very rare that the location tracking is incorrect. On the application software, you will notice a blue ‘dot’ which is where the user is located.

Don’t worry! You can simply cancel an alert by pressing ‘Cancel’ on the watch 3 seconds after the alert is submitted. If the alert does goes through, kindly let the responding emergency contact know it was a false alert.
