Shipping

We use Australia Post because they deliver to all areas Australia-wide. Australia Post generally take between 4 to 7 business days to deliver parcels.  Please be aware that even though we make every effort, parcels and mail can be late in arriving from time to time due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control. Covid-19 lockdowns and state border closures to name just a few ‘unforeseen’ circumstances.

Returns

Thank you for buying one of our products or services. We appreciate the faith you have shown in Marmic Meditrack. We believe we offer great products and services to all our clients, however, if for some reason you need to return a product then please refer to the following:

  • If an item is faulty, please refer to our Warranty Policy.
  • If an item is wrongly described or different from the sample shown, a full refund will be given provided the item is returned within 14 days of the purchase date.
  • You need to provide a proof of purchase.
  • All products must be returned in the original condition and packaging.
  • All return postage and insurance costs are to be paid by the buyer unless otherwise stated in our policies.
  • Marmic Meditrak will not be responsible for parcels lost or damaged in transit if you choose not to insure.

Before returning an item, please contact us and explain your concern.  It may be something that we can easily help you with, thereby avoiding the need to return the item at all, saving you time and effort.

Terms & Conditions of Use

Marmic Meditrak products and services can be useful for identifying where your loved one is or was located.  However, a condition of use of all Marmic Meditrak GPS Safety Devices and those supplied by any of our contracted service providers is that you accept that the map locations and notifications presented may be inaccurate at times. Accuracy can be affected by multiple variants. Signal strength, structure and size of buildings in the vicinity, location of mobile phone towers, to name just a few. At times satellites may not be able to get a good GPS fix on your location due to interference i.e. a multi-level concrete parking station or shopping complex, or if you are beyond the range of a mobile phone tower in a remote region.

You must never solely rely on the information received from our devices to form an opinion regarding the safety of the person or persons wearing or using any of our devices. They are to be used as an aid in monitoring the location of the user. None of the devices we sell or hire are intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease or other health conditions.

You must never use any Marmic Meditrak or GPS Safety Device in a manner other than that which it was intended. That is to provide a GPS safety device to a loved one or someone who is at risk of possible injury or of becoming lost or disorientated.

They must NEVER be used in any manner to break or circumvent the laws of the state or territory they are used in. Please refer to the current laws of your state or territory regarding the use of GPS devices because they will differ depending on your location.

Nothing on this website or in any communication from Marmic Meditrak or our contracted service providers should be taken to constitute professional advice or a formal recommendation.

You/the purchaser/end user, agree to and shall indemnify and hold blameless Marmic Meditrak, our contracted service providers and/or its owners, its employees, agents and subcontractors from and against all claims, lawsuits, including legal fees, and losses asserted against and alleged to be caused by any products performance, negligent performance, supplied products or services failure to perform its obligations under this agreement.

Time limitations

Marmic Meditrak warrants the performance of all equipment supplied for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase by the user, subject to exclusion in cases where the equipment ceases to perform as a result of the user’s negligence or abuse.

Where a user wishes to make a warranty claim, the equipment should be returned to us with proof of date of purchase. Marmic Meditrak’s liability in the case of defective equipment shall be limited (to the extent that the law allows) to repair or replacement (at Marmic Meditrak’s option) of such equipment.

The benefits given to you under our warranty are in addition to other rights and remedies you have under the Australian Consumer Laws.

Service call outs

Where the warranty claim requires a service technician to visit the user’s premises with in the Perth metropolitan area, Marmic Meditrak shall accept liability up to a limit of $125 (excluding GST) for the cost of one visit by a service technician to the user’s premises.

How to make a warranty claim

  1. Contact Marmic Meditrak at info@marmicmeditrak.com.au and provide the item serial number and verification of sale/purchase date.
  2. Our friendly staff will confirm the product is within the warranty period and provide an incident number and email you a Fault and action report form
  3. Return the faulty equipment with a completed Fault and Action Report form to Marmic Meditrak, PO Box 2492, CLARKSON WA 6030.
  4. The Service team will assess the equipment and determine whether to repair or replace. In the instance the equipment fault is deemed out of warranty, the Service team will contact you to discuss further action.
  5. The Service team will dispatch repaired or replacement equipment to the user.

Information collected

Marmic Meditrak is committed to protecting your privacy as a visitor to our website. We use the information we collect about you to maximize the services that we provide to you. We respect the privacy and confidentiality of the information and adhere to the Australian Privacy Laws.

All information we receive from our customers is protected. All customer data collected is secured against unauthorized use or access. Credit card information is not stored by us on our servers.

By using our website, you consent to the collection and use by Marmic Meditrak of any information you provide. If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will update the information on this page so that you are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it and under what circumstances we disclose it.

Third parties

We will use all reasonable means to protect the confidentiality of your personal data while in our possession or control. We will not intentionally share any of your personal data with any third party other than our service providers who assist us in providing the information and/or services we are providing to you, such as Telstra if using one of their SIM cards, or any of our contracted Monitoring centres who operate our 24/7 Emergency Response monitoring. If we do share your personal information with a service provider we would only do so if that party has agreed to comply with our privacy standards as described in this privacy policy.  Some of our service providers may be overseas and may not be subject to Australian Privacy Laws. Please contact us if you require specific details.

Unsubscribing

From time to time we will keep you up to date with exciting offers and changes to our product line. We do not send you anything unless you have given us permission by agreeing to our Terms and Conditions at the time of purchase. If you want to change your mind, you can at any time. Simply contact us requesting to ‘unsubscribe’ from our mailing list, or follow the link at the bottom of each email we may send.
